About – Mattie Keenhold

Hi!!! My name is Mattie and I am a senior Marketing major at Elon University. I graduate in the spring with a BSBA in marketing. Here’s a little bit more about me and what I am passionate about!

Whether it’s skiing, hiking, or sailing, I have always been passionate about the outdoors. It has consistently brought me peace and comfort. Nature serves as a constant muse for me in a creative aspect. Through my photography and art, I continuously seek inspiration from the beauty of nature.

Displayed above are a few examples of my artwork. I work with oil pastels, chalk pastels, charcoal, and acrylic paints. I enjoy learning new techniques and exploring designs that I haven’t tried before. The bigger the challenge, the better!

Another way I discovered to express myself was through photography. I have always found the world so beautiful and wished I could capture every moment in time to keep it forever. Photography has been instrumental in achieving this for me. Through my passion for travel and creating art, I found that photography came somewhat naturally to me.
